Olapen wants everyone to be able to browse our website, learn about microneedling and shop with us, whatever their abilities or the technology they use.

Our commitment

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, and to treat all customers fairly in line with the Equality Act 2010. Accessibility is an ongoing commitment, and we keep working to improve the site.

What we do

  • Write in plain, clear English, including in our Learn guides and policies.
  • Use headings and lists to structure pages so they work well with screen readers.
  • Add text descriptions (alt text) to product and guide images.
  • Aim for text and buttons with good colour contrast.
  • Make sure the site can be used with a keyboard and resized or zoomed without losing content.
  • Make the site work on phones, tablets and desktop computers.
  • Use Shopify's secure checkout, which is designed with accessibility in mind.

Known limitations

Some parts of our site may not yet be fully accessible. For example:

  • some older images may not have full text descriptions
  • some videos may not have captions
  • some features provided by third parties, such as review widgets, payment options or chat tools, are outside our direct control.

We're working to fix these issues. If something stops you using our site, please tell us.

Getting help or information in another format

If you have difficulty using any part of our website, or need information such as a policy, guide or product instructions in a different format (for example large print or plain text), please contact us. We'll do our best to help, and can also take your order by email if you can't complete checkout.

We aim to reply within 1–2 business days.
