What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files saved on your device when you visit a website. They help the site work, remember your choices (such as what's in your basket) and help us understand how the site is used. Similar technologies, such as pixels and local storage, work in a similar way, and we refer to them all as "cookies" in this policy.
The cookies we use
Strictly necessary cookies
These are needed for the site to work, for example to keep items in your basket, let you check out securely, remember your cookie choices and help prevent fraud. They don't need your consent, and you can't switch them off on our site. Our store runs on Shopify, which sets these cookies. Examples include:
- cart, cart_sig: remember the items in your basket
- secure_customer_sig: keeps you signed in to your customer account
- _tracking_consent: remembers your cookie preferences
- localization: remembers your country and currency
- keep_alive: keeps your session active during checkout
Preference cookies
These remember choices you've made, such as your language or region, so the site works the way you expect.
Analytics cookies
These help us understand how visitors use the site, for example which pages are most popular and where people leave, so we can improve it. The information is collected in aggregate. We only set these with your consent.
Marketing cookies
These may be set by us or by advertising partners to show you relevant ads on other websites and measure how well our campaigns work. We only set these with your consent.
For full details of the cookies Shopify sets, see Shopify's cookie policy.
Your choices
When you first visit our site, you can accept or reject non-essential cookies using our cookie banner. You can change your mind at any time by clearing your cookies and revisiting the site, which will show the banner again.
You can also control cookies in your browser settings, including blocking or deleting them. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the site, such as the basket and checkout, from working. Guidance is available at ico.org.uk.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time, for example if we add new tools to our site. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
